What you'll build
- Trigger: Houseler → *New Customer*
- Action: Mailchimp → *Add/Update Subscriber*
Step 1 — Trigger on a new Houseler customer
- Create a Zap; choose Houseler → New Customer.
- Connect Houseler with your API key (Settings → Integrations) and test to pull a recent customer.
Step 2 — Add them to Mailchimp
- Add the action Mailchimp → Add/Update Subscriber and connect your account.
- Choose your audience, then map: - Email → email - First name → firstName - Last name → lastName - (optional) Phone →
phone - Test, then turn the Zap on.
Good to know
- Customers without an email get skipped. Not every Houseler customer has an email on file. Add a Filter → "Email exists" step so the Zap only runs when there's an address to add.
- Not on Mailchimp? Swap the action for your tool — the same trigger feeds ConvertKit, Brevo, Klaviyo, Google Contacts, or a plain Google Sheet.
- Timing: Houseler checks for new customers every few minutes and runs the Zap automatically.
