How do my customers pay?
They get a text with a link to their invoice. They open it, enter their card, and pay — all from their phone. There is nothing for them to download and no account to set up.
When do I get the money?
Payments are deposited into the bank account you connect, on Stripe’s standard payout schedule. Once you are set up, it happens automatically after each payment without any extra steps from you.
What are the fees?
Card payments are powered by Stripe, so Stripe’s standard per-transaction processing fee applies to each payment. You can see current rates on Stripe’s pricing page. There is nothing extra to install in Houseler to start accepting cards.
Do I need a separate payments account?
You connect a Stripe account to Houseler — Stripe is what securely moves the money to your bank. If you do not already have one, you can create it during setup in a few minutes.
How does my customer get the invoice?
Houseler sends it by text as a link to a hosted invoice page. They can open it on any phone, review the line items, and pay by card on the same page.
